SynAIpse will partner with Mayfield Brain & Spine to evaluate credentialing platform

SynAIpse Inc., a physician-founded, AI-powered healthcare automation company, announced that Mayfield Brain & Spine has signed a letter of intent to serve as a beta site for SynAIpse’s credentialing and privileging platform.

During the six-month testing period, Mayfield’s credentialing team will evaluate the platform alongside the systems it uses today. The platform is designed to support provider onboarding, document management and related credentialing workflows.

SynAIpse was founded in January 2026 by Dr. Soliman Oushy and Dr. Robert James, both practicing neurosurgeons at Mayfield. The startup is focused on improving credentialing and administrative workflows. The founders noted that every physician goes through credentialing, and much of the process remains manual and time intensive.

SynAIpse is developing technology intended to streamline credentialing and related administrative processes through workflow automation and artificial intelligence.

“We built this because we live it,” said Dr. Oushy, chief executive officer of SynAIpse. “Every physician fills out the same forms and chases the same verifications – and waits. Mayfield is where we practice, so it’s an ideal environment to evaluate whether we can improve the process.”

About Mayfield Brain & Spine: Founded in 1937, Mayfield Brain & Spine is a nationally known independent neurosurgery practice, with 23 neurosurgeons, one orthopedic spine surgeon, one neuro-oncologist and six interventional pain physicians. Surgeons operate at the region’s leading health systems, treating brain tumors, spinal deformity, strokes and a variety of other disorders of the brain and spine. Mayfield served more than 36,600 patients in 2025.

"This beta testing gives us the opportunity to evaluate a tool built by physicians who understand the challenges associated with credentialing and administrative workflows. We look forward to providing real-world feedback while continuing to utilize the systems and processes we rely on today."
